Johnman Spraycan

Johnman is renowned urban artist best known for his monochrome, romantic works on collaged train tickets, often using railway tracks as a metaphor for life’s journey.  British born, he followed his heart to Ireland in 2014 and now resides in Dublin with his wife and their young son.

When not breathing fresh life into old railway tickets he explodes into vibrant colour on canvas; taking the tools of graffiti and using them “where one would think they don’t belong” to create semi-abstract agricultural landscapes and golden seascapes with a pop-art vibe.

He was a finalist in the Inaugural Stencil Art Prize in Sydney with his train ticket art and has exhibited in numerous galleries and exhibitions, including at the Osaka Art Fair in Japan with Gallery Kawamatsu and a solo show in London's Graffik Gallery. His work has been published in all three of the Upfest Urban Art Festival Books, Bizarre Magazine and various newspapers.

Johnman’s work resides in private collections around the globe and his street art work can be seen across Ireland’s South County Dublin, along with a large scale train-ticket mural located at Cheltenham Train Station in Gloucestershire.
