Photographer Dom Courtenay is based in the seaside town on Aldeburgh on England’s east coat. Living close to the sea both inspires and informs Dom’s ever evolving portfolio.

He started his photographic career in London during the 1990’s. Working in darkrooms and labs alongside assisting some of the capital’s best commercial photographers, he learnt the skills needed to strike out on his own in the early 2000’s.

Being part of the last generation of photographers to learn their craft prior to the advent of digital, Dom still works with analogue cameras and film, combined with digital printing to produce the best quality archival prints.

Dom’s work is a visual exploration of both the natural and man-made world, and has been exhibited in numerous shows in the UK alongside being published internationally.
